DAY 1: NANYUKI – SIRIMON GATE 2650m – JUDUMERE CAMPSITE 3300m

Transfer from Nairobi to Nanyuki in a public vehicle. Leave Nanyuki at 11:00 am and drive to Sirimon gate where you will start hiking to Judimere campsite. Trek from Sirimon gate to old moses is a distance of 9km that take about 3-4 hours trekking, passing through the forest of indigenous trees. Dinner and overnight in the tent.

DAY2: JUDIMERE – SHIPTONS CAMPSITE 4200m

Leave the camp with a picnic lunch exactly at 7:00 am to shiptons hut a distance of 14 km a journey that takes 6-7 hours. Shiptons campsite is located at the base of the highest peaks namely Batian and Nelion. Dinner and overnight in the tent at Shiptons campsite.

DAY 3: SHIPTONS - LENANA SUMMIT - HALL'S TARN CAMPSITE

Leave Shipton at 3:00 am to attempt the summit, a journey that takes 3 ½ hours to reach the summit. Point Lenana is the third highest peak in Mt Kenya and the only one that can be reached by trekking. On a clear sky day, you can see Mt Kilimanjaro on the southern side and the Indian Ocean shining as the sun is rising. After enjoying the summit, descend down to the hall's tarn campsite where you will spend your 3rd night in the tent. This is one of the nicest campsites in Mt Kenya since it offers a great view of sunrise in front of the lake, Chogoria gorges and valley, Lake Michaelson, Delamere peaks and the 3 major peaks namely Batian, Nelson and Lenana.

DAY 4: HALL'S TARN - CHOGORIA ANABAS BANDAS

After breakfast proceed further down for 16km to Chogoria Anabas campsite via Road head campsite where you break for lunch before proceeding further for another 7km to Anabas campsite where you will spend your 4th night.

DAY 5: CHOGORIA ANABAS – CHOGORIA TOWN - NAIROBI

After breakfast drive through the dense chogoria rain forest to Chogoria town where you will catch up with a bus back to Nairobi where your tour ends.
