The 5-day Aberdare Range traverse is a demanding expedition designed for seasoned hikers seeking solitude and raw natural beauty. DAY 1: NAIROBI - SHAMATA GATE - TWIN TOWER CAMPSITE.

Depart to Aberdares National Park through shamata gate where we shall start our hike to twin tower for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: TWIN TOWER - OL DOINYO LESATIMA- ROADHEAD CAMPSITE

After breakfast depart to Oldoinyo lesatima summit 4001m via Dragon teeth. Dinner and overnight stay at roadhead campsite

DAY 3: ROADHEAD - HAGENIA CAMPSITE

After breakfast leave with picnic lunch to Hagenia campsite. This camp is surrounded by magnificent rosewood hagenia

DAY 4 HAGENIA - CHANIA CAMPSITE

After breakfast leave for a 4 - 5 hours walk through hagenia forest to chania falls campsite which on the moorland zone of this mountain.

DAY 5: CHANIA - KIANDONGORO GATE - NAIROBI

After an early morning breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for 4 -5 hours hike on the moorland track to Kiandongoro gate where you will connect with transfer vehicle to Nairobi.
