You will stay at Umoja Camp, an inspiring project run by the Umoja Uaso Women’s Group, offering a rare look at Samburu culture alongside your game drives. After exploring the home of the "Special Five," you will travel to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Here, you’ll stay at The Stables, a budget-friendly research center turned lodge, perfectly positioned to witness the conservancy's successful integration of livestock and wildlife. Your final days will be dedicated to tracking black and white rhinos and visiting the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya.

DAY 1: NAIROBI - SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

The journey to Samburu begins with early pick up from the hotel or airport and proceed to this special park along with the beautiful views along the way including the equator line. You can imagine the beautiful Samburu National Reserve is sure to capture your heart with rich wildlife species including the big cats and some big 5 hyena, elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra, cheetah among other animals. It also gives an opportunity to see the unique mammals such Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe and gerenuk and Bird species. Arriving in time for Lunch and then followed by afternoon game drives then later back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE FULL DAY

After Breakfast you will have the whole day to enjoy the abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Gravy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a minimum elephant. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the Miracle Lioness that adapted the baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve). Bird life is abundant with over 450 species recorded. Birds of the arid northern bush country are augmented by a number of riverine forest species. Lesser Kestrel, Taita Falcon is a species of global conservation concern and they both utilize the reserve. Five species categorized as vulnerable have recorded in the reserve. These are African Darter, Great Egret, White headed Vulture, Martial Eagle and the Yellow billed Ox pecker. Critically endangered species Pancake tortoise is found in the reserve.

DAY 3: SAMBURU – OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY

Early Morning game drive then then back to the camp for breakfast before exiting to Ol pejeta Drive down to Nanyuki leisurely enjoying the sprawling wheat farms and the beautiful country side of the northern Kenya. Olpejeta has pioneering conservation projects that have made it famous to spectacular sightings of black and white rhino and the Big Five. Ol Pejeta is the first choice for discerning safari veterans looking for bush camp and to understand and enjoy the very best of world-leading conservation practice. Arrive in time for Lunch and an evening game drive. Settling in for a night at the exciting Olpejeta Stables.

DAY 4: OLPAJETA – NAIROBI CITY

An early morning game drives in Ol Pejeta Conservancy which Conservancy boasts of an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the endangered black Rhino, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Lion). This is an opportunity to see the early morning active animals with the combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. After wards, depart by road for Nairobi with an enroute hot lunch on the way. Arriving in the afternoon be dropped off at the airport or Nairobi Hotel.
